Purpose
The
mission of this web site is to support Barack Obama for President of the
United States, and to define and rekindle a common purpose among local
communities, families, workers, students, seniors and a new and
revitalized Democratic Party. To discover and dissolve the barriers that
have divided us in the past and to facilitate the principles, ideas and
context necessary for the transition to a progressive, effective and innovative
American Society well into the 21st Century.
Context
A
united Democratic Party in solidarity across the nation to deliver victories
for local, regional, state and national elected offices in November 2008.

Creativity is the basis for innovation in all fields of endeavor; from raising goats to making soap, from the scientific and technological, to the political, humanities, social sciences or the arts and letters . . . whatever the discipline--our future lies in the quality of our educational system.
- The Arts are critically under-funded by the current administration--that needs to change.
- We support our workers and local businesses, working to enhance our commitment to social, sustainable and environmental awareness & action.
- Together we must strive for energy independence from foreign oil and develop alternative energy resources.
- Every American, every family and every man, woman and child has a right to affordable health care.
- And
funding Social Security in support of our aging population is all
about honoring the legacy of our parents and grandparents.
